Recently, my love of nature took me on a hike through an old-growth forest on Vancouver Island. It isn't the first time hiking in this area, although it is the first time "seeing" and attempting to understand the complexity of the Lung Lichen (Lungwort) organism. I have admired its beauty before, but today it lit up the forest with hues of blueish greens and sun-drenched yellows.
Identifying and researching these rain forest anomalies heightens my anticipation for the next adventure.
