The Old and the New...

OLD GROWTH BEAUTY

It's 2023, camera in hand, another adventure/destination in mind and a soul filled with curious anticipation.

Welcome to Tsútswecw Provincial Park (Roderick Haig-Brown) in British Columbia, Canada, the perfect location for some much needed tranquility.

The park is located on both sides of the Adams River between Adams Lake and Shuswap Lake and has one of the largest Sockeye salmon runs in North America.

The Lower Flume trail is a gorgeous forest hike suitable for families and dogs and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. It was a bit icy in spots because of some extreme weather conditions over the past few days but what a beautiful way to begin the Year.
